About the Stones

At Avenys & Co., every stone begins with one decision: it must perform in light at the highest level.

Each stone is individually cut and finished by a master cutter, ensuring the faceting achieves the correct balance of fire, brilliance, and depth. This meticulous process allows the stone to display strong presence under both natural daylight and indoor lighting. Precision faceting is executed to exacting standards, controlling how light enters, reflects, and returns. The objective is clear: to achieve optimal optical performance, calibrated to rival the highest standards of fine diamonds and gemstones.

For our diamonds, selection goes beyond traditional grading. Each stone is evaluated using ASET (Angular Spectrum Evaluation Tool) imaging, allowing us to analyze how efficiently the diamond captures and returns light. Only stones demonstrating high light return, minimal leakage, and balanced contrast are selected, ensuring superior brilliance and visual performance.

All cutting and finishing are carried out by specialist artisans overseas, combining advanced lapidary technology with generations of expertise. Only stones that meet our internal standard are selected into the House.

Laboratory-grown sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and other colored stones. Selected for controlled color, clarity, and uniformity. Certification is provided where applicable, including the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and other recognized gemological laboratories.

Avenys Created Diamonds™

Laboratory-grown diamonds with identical chemical and optical properties to natural diamonds. Selected to high standards of cut, color, and clarity, typically accompanied by certification from the International Gemological Institute (IGI) or other recognized laboratories.

Avenys Rare Gemstones™

Natural gemstones sourced for their inherent character, depth of color, and natural formation. Certification may be provided by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), American Gemological Laboratories (AGL), Gübelin Gem Lab, or other internationally recognized authorities, depending on the stone.

Avenys Rare Diamonds™

Natural diamonds selected for rarity, structure, and enduring value. Typically certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and further evaluated through ASET imaging to ensure superior light performance.
